VIDEO : Hamill Talks About 'Last Jedi' Ending

Waring: This article contains spoilers for 'The Last Jedi.' Star Wars: The Last Jedi finds Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill, in seclusion at the Jedi Temple. A lot has changed since we last saw Luke. He went from a hopeful, optimistic young man to a bitter, angry, regretful old man. The Last Jedi ends with Luke sacrificing himself to save the last of the Resistance. In a recent interview Hamill expressed his feelings on Luke Skywalker?s story arc in Rian Johnson?s The Last Jedi, saying it?s not how George Lucas would?ve handled the character?s concluding arc. He said "he?s not my Luke Skywalker, but I had to do what Rian wanted me to do because it serves the story well.?
