The film is a circus musical about P.T. Barnum.
It's a passion project for Jackman, who has been trying to get the film made for seven and a half years.
It's obvious he put a lot of passion into his role.
Well, the reviews for the film are in. Critics, decisively, disliked the movie.
The general consensus for the film is that it's hollow and barely comprehensible.
Rotten Tomatoes says the movie "tries hard to dazzle the audience ... at the expense of its complex subject's far more intriguing real-life story."
