Some women have decided to wear the color black at the upcoming Golden Globes, to acknowledge the wave of sexual assault allegations rocking Hollywood. According to Elle, actress Rose McGowan, who also accused Harvey Weinstein of assault, criticized actresses, like Meryl Streep, "who happily worked for The Pig Monster." In the now deleted tweet, McGown calls the women who want to wear black hypocrites, saying that their "silence" is the problem. But Rose's friend Amber Tamblyn responded, standing up for all women who want to take part. She tweeted, "I do not support any woman (or man) shaming or taunting the movements of other women who are trying to create change." The Golden Globes will air on January 7, 2018.
