'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' became a surprisingly polarizing topic over the weekend.
While critics gave it a 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes, fans scored it around the 50% mark--which was remarkably low.
But according to ComicBook.com, an unknown social media user claimed they created multiple fake accounts to drive the film's score down.
And global Social Intelligence company Synthesio found that just 29.96 % of posts about the film on social media were negative.
