According to E! News, more than thirty actresses attending or presenting at the 2018 Golden Globes will conduct a silent protest against sexual harassment by wearing all black. Yet actress Rose McGowan posted recently on Twitter that being silent about the problem is part of the problem. In her post she specifically called out Meryl Streep and called the woman participating in this silent protest hypocrites. McGowan wrote: "Maybe you should all wear Marchesa," making reference to the fashion brand of Harvey Weinstein's ex-wife, Georgina Chapman, who has stood by Weinstein.
