George Clooney and 'Bridge of Spies' writer Matt Charman will develop a limited series about the Watergate scandal for Netflix. The series will run for eight episodes, with each episode devoted to a different Watergate figure. Clooney's interest in history became clear with his directorial effort "Good Night, and Good Luck" about newsman Edward R. Murrow, and later with "Leatherheads" and "The Monuments Men."
