Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill has gone ahead and debunked many of the popular fan theories for the newly-released Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
In a video for Rolling Stone?s website called ?Fan Theory Exploder?, Hamill debunks some of the funnier theories that Star Wars fans have proposed about what goes on in The Last Jedi. Aside from Hamill disproving some rather outlandish stuff, the video (see above) contains no significant spoilers for the actual movie, for those who have yet to see it on the big screen.
In the five-minute video, Hamill deals with theories involving Rey chasing after Porgs in her Jedi training, just exactly how Force-sensitive Leia is, Poe Dameron waking up Finn in a surprising way, rumors of a BB-8/BB-9E duel, Snoke being a secret Ewok, Chewbacca?s post-smuggling career, the Luke/R2 relationship and whether or not a character will lose a hand. Hamill also reveals that he spoke with retired Star Wars creator George Lucas recently and that while Lucas? ?original outline for 7, 8 and 9? dealt with Leia?s abilities, the actual films don?t follow that outline.
