Mario Batali's culinary empire is collapsing under the weight of multiple accusations of sexual misconduct. Batali initially responded to the claims with an official statement, in which he admitted to his misbehavior and said he would be stepping away from his restaurant business. Even so, the food world has had plenty to say about the claims against Batali. ABC has decided to fire him from its daytime talk show, The Chew.Its just the latest hit against Batali. He was forced to step away from the 23-restaurants he co-owns. Target has pulled all of Batali's products off its shelves , as did Italian food chain Eately.
