BET CEO and president Debra Lee is handing over her presidential title to a new executive. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Scott M. Mills will handle daily operations, while Lee stays on as Chairman/CEO. Mills was previously an EVP at BET's parent company, Viacom. This shakeup is one of many changes going on at the black entertainment TV channel. In addition to shifting out of their longtime D.C. headquarters to focus on business in L.A. and New York, reports say that Tyler Perry will also come aboard. He'll bring "nearly 100 hours of annual programming" to the network.
