Quentin Tarantino may just be the future of the Star Trek cinematic franchise.
Although he?s a rogue choice, he may be just what the franchise needs, able to make it cooler than J.J. Abrams ever did.
Even hardcore trekkers would agree that Star Trek has always had a coolness problem.
It's nowhere near as cool as Star Wars.
Tarantino can take the stale, scientific dialogue and elevate it to another level.
His action sequences will also be grittier, and more fun to watch.
