VIDEO : Golden Globe snubs female directors

Reuters reports that female directors were snubbed this year, when it came to 2018 Golden Globe nominations. The nominations, which were announced on Monday, failed to include directors like Patty Jenkins, who created the box office hit, Wonder Woman, Greta Gerwig, "who made her solo directorial debut" with the coming-of-age tale ?Lady Bird,? and Kathryn Bigelow, of the drama ?Detroit.? Director Martin McDonagh, who was among those nominated called it a shame, adding, ?I know there have been great screenplays by women recognized this year but not directing, and maybe that will change in the Oscars.?
