Six nights a week, John Leguizamo stands before a dusty chalkboard and a trove of books in New York City and delivers a history lecture. In his one-man show called "Latin History for Morons," Leguizamo explores the Latino contributions to the American Project and his people's contributions to the world. Leguizamo says his broadway show, partly inspired by his son's school experiences, has changed since he first developed it more than a year ago. "I wanted to weaponize our history so [my son] wouldn't have to fight the bullies at school." said leguizamo, adding that he felt new urgency in his mission after the election of Donald Trump.
