It looks like Quentin Tarantino is making a Star Trek movie. Earlier this week the news broke that Tarantino had pitched an idea for a Star Trek sequel to J.J. Abrams, and that Abrams liked what he heard. Things have reportedly moved very quickly since then and Tarantino met in a writers? room with The Revenant writer Mark L. Smith, Lindsey Beer, and Drew Pearce. The three hammered out ideas for the new Star Trek film. Deadline.com is reporting that one of those three will get the job of writing the screenplay. There is a rumor that Tarantino's Star Trek will be R-Rated. Star Trek fans are upset over the possibility of an R-Rated Star Trek as MPAA R-Rating limits the film's audience.
