Director Ridley Scott has some new ideas about where to take the Alien franchise.
Prometheus and Alien: Covenant were the last entries in the series.
Both were met with middling reviews and luke-warm reception from fans and critics.
Still, Scott is plowing ahead with new Aliens movies. He seems intent to press on with some potentially divisive new ideas.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Scott expounded on his ideas for what the next Alien film may look like.
Scott said ?I think what we have to do is gradually drift away from the alien stuff.?
For Scott, Artificial Intelligence is scarier and a realer threat to humanity than Alien monsters.
