VIDEO : Sources Say That Disney-Fox Deal Could Be Announced Next Week

According to sources familiar with the matter on Tuesday, Walt Disney appears in the lead to acquire much of Twenty-First Century Fox's media empire, however competitor Comcast remains in the running. As reported by Reuters, one of the sources claims that the Murdoch family, which controls Fox, would prefer a deal with Disney as it would rather be paid in Disney stock and as a potential deal with Disney would be more likely to clear US antitrust regulators. However, the sources went on to say that no deal between Disney and Fox is imminent and that several issues have yet to be negotiated.
