Ridley Scott has plans for the Alien franchise. The last Aliens film was Alien: Covenant. The movie was a modest hit and got mixed reviews from fans and critics. Scott is planning something new for the Alien universe. No, it's not more monsters of face huggers. It's A.I. For Ridley Scott, the threat to humanity comes from A.I., not from monsters. Scott said "I think AI is becoming much more dangerous and therefore more interesting.? Scott cited the failed Facebook A.I. experiment, which was shut down when the two A.I. units created their own language and started communicating in a language that their human programmers could not understand.
