Director Bryan Singer has confirmed he is no longer directing 'Bohemian Rhapsody.' Singer claims that 20th Century Fox refused to give him time off to look after an unwell parent. Singer revealed he was "terminated" by the studio after he asked for some time off to go back to the US to deal with "pressing health matters concerning one of my parents". Singer has denied speculation his exit was down to "a dispute" with lead star Rami Malek, who will play the band's late frontman Freddie in the motion picture. Singer admitted he had "creative differences" on set with Malek. Initial news reports indicated that Singer was volatile and just did not show up for work for days on end.
