Big news, Quentin Tarantino fans! The famed director is developing a new Star Trek movie for Paramount alongside J.J. Abrams, and could end up directing it. the franchise has been a little lackluster as of late, so it?s no surprise Paramount is looking for another way to bring it back. Tarantino recently pitched an idea for a new Star Trek film to Abrams and Paramount and it was well received. Paramount is currently looking to gather a writer?s room to flesh out Tarantino?s ideas. if all goes according to plan, Abrams will be a producer. Depending on the rest of the development process and his schedule, Tarantino could end up directing the film.
