During a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson explained why his DC villain Black Adam and the superhero Shazam! will be in separate movies despite the two characters being major rivals in comic books. According to Johnson, Warner Brothers has a plan which requires two separate films, giving the characters ample breathing room from one another. Johnson went on to say, "I think they've got a great plan over there with him and I wish those guys the best of luck. We had to split the idea because the obviously idea was Black Adam and Shazam. So we split it. Those guys are gonna do great with it."
