Jude Law is in talks to star as the male lead in 'Captain Marvel'. The 'Sherlock Holmes' actor is said to be in negotiations about taking on a major part in the hotly-anticipated Marvel movie, in which Brie Larson has been cast as the titular character, Carol Danvers. Ben Mendelsohn is set to play the villain in the motion picture, and Samuel L. Jackson is expected to reprise his role as Nick Fury. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck will direct the project, and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige will produce.
