'Blade Runner 2049' director Denis Villeneuve recently sounded off on the upcoming reboot of the movie 'Dune' which he will helm. The film is based off Frank Herbert's 1965 novel, which is considered to be one of the most acclaimed and influential pieces of sci-fi literature ever. While talking with Yahoo! Movies, Villenueve says his version will have no connection to previous adaptations such as David Lynch's adaptation from the 1980s.
