Jeffrey Tambor is leaving 'Transparent.' Following four seasons as the star of the popular Amazon series, Tambor has decided to leave due to what he is calling a "politicized atmosphere." The actor was accused of multiple instances of sexual harassment in recent weeks. On Saturday, 'Transparent' writer Our Lady J and LGTBQ organization GLAAD publicly called for Tambor's removal from the show. Tambor said Sunday, ?I?ve already made clear my deep regret if any action of mine was ever misinterpreted by anyone as being aggressive, but the idea that I would deliberately harass anyone is simply and utterly untrue. Given the politicized atmosphere that seems to have afflicted our set, I don?t see how I can return to Transparent.?
