VIDEO : Gabby Douglas Apologizes For Saying Women Should 'Dress Modestly'

Gabby Douglass has released an apology after saying that women should dress modelstly to prebvent sexual assualt. Her statement comes after fellow Teammate Aly Raisman came forward about being sexually assaulted by the US Womans gymnastics Doctor when she was only 15 years old. Raisman tweeted about sexual assault, and how people need to stop victum shaming. Douglass quote tweeted Raismans tweet and said, " However it is our repsonsibility as women to dress modestly and be classy. dressing in a provoctivatoive/sexual way entices the wrong crowd." Many people were extremely unhappy about the tweet, and douglass recieved a lot of backlash from it. She took to concours-twitter.htm">twitter to apologize for the insensitive tweet and is quoted tweeting, "i didn?t correctly word my reply & i am deeply sorry for coming off like i don?t stand alongside my teammates. regardless of what you wear, abuse under any circumstance is never acceptable. i am WITH you. #metoo"
