Sarah Paulson is in talks to join the cast of the film adaptation of ?The Goldfinch,? an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap.
Ansel Elgort and Aneurin Barnard also star, with John Crowley directing.
?The Goldfinch? is based on Donna Tartt?s Pulitzer-winning book of the same name. It tells the story of a young man named Theodore Decker (who will be played by Elgort), who survives a terrorist bombing at an art museum. He survives the tragedy and steals Fabritius? famous painting ?The Goldfinch.? The attack killed his mother, so he is forced to live in Las Vegas with his deadbeat father.
