Fox has set the premiere dates for ?The X-Files? and Ryan Murphy?s ?9-1-1.?
?The X-Files? launches the second chapter of its event series on Wednesday, Jan. 3, at 8 p.m. ?9-1-1,? a procedural focusing on emergency responders, follows at 9 p.m.
Fox has also released a new promo for ?9-1-1,? which includes stars Angela Bassett, Connie Britton and Peter Krause. The spot can be seen above.
As for ?X-Files,? Gillian Anderson (Scully) and David Duchovny (Mulder) reprise their roles in the new 10-episode run of the sci-fi series from creator Chris Carter.
The shows will take over the time slots for ?Empire? and ?Star,? which air their fall finales next month and return in March 2018.
