The Weinstein Company is attempting to sell "Paddington 2" before the company files for bankruptcy. The film production company has had financial trouble since before the sexual assault scandal surrounding co-founder and chairman Harvey Weinstein, but its troubles have only gotten worse since Weinstein was ousted. Variety reports that the studio is shopping around "Paddington 2" for potential buyers prior to filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, which may happen this week.
