VIDEO : Amazon To Make 'Lord Of The Rings' Prequel TV Series

A "Lord of the Rings" TV series is officially moving forward at Amazon. The Warner Bros. series will serve as a prequel and will span a number of seasons. Amazon says that the show will be set before the events of "The Fellowship of the Ring," however, plot and character details have not yet been revealed. Variety also reports that there will be an option for a spin-off if the main show is well received.
