Sandra Bullock will star as Texas senator Wendy Davis in upcoming biopic, 'Let Her Speak'. Davis is a Democratic senator who is known for her 11-hour filibuster in the Texas state house in order to stall an anti-abortion bill. For those who do not know, a filibuster is when a debate is continued over a proposed piece of legislation in order to prevent or delay from that decision being made. When Davis did this in 2013 she delayed the bill enough that she passed the deadline of the legislative season. The movie is being produced by Todd Black and Jason Blumenthal.
