Lucasfilm shocked 'Star Wars' fans on Thursday when it announced that there is a brand new film trilogy in the works for the franchise. Rian Johnson, who directed the most recent installment, "The Last Jedi," has been signed on to helm the new movies. Johnson wrote on Twitter, ?Obviously I hope you like The Last Jedi. But man now I REALLY hope you like The Last Jedi.? President of Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy said, ?We all loved working with Rian on The Last Jedi. He?s a creative force." "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" hits theaters December 15.
