After multiple allegations of sexual harassment and assault surfaced about actor Kevin Spacey, Netflix swiftly responded by announcing that they would suspend production of the show "House of Cards." On Friday, the streaming platform announced that they are officially severing ties with the actor, and said that they "will not be involved with any further production of House of Cards that includes Kevin Spacey." They added that over 300 people work on the production aspect of "House of Cards," and that it would be unfair to displace them from work. Netflix will move forward the the series without it's star, Frank Underwood, by either killing him off or writing him out completely.
