In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, director Ridley Scott believes the 'Alien' creature has been played out in the long-running sci-fi horror franchise. When asked why he chose he helm the recent 'Alien: Covenant' instead of the sequel to his other popular film, 'Blade Runner: 2049', Scott said, "I think the beast has almost run out, personally. You?ve got to come in with something else. You?ve got to replace that. And so I was right, I was ahead of the game.
