Gizmodo has reported that as allegations have surfaced that actor Kevin Spacey made a sexual advance on Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp when he was just 14-years-old, Netflix has announced that it will bring House of Cards, its first original scripted show, to an end. Entertainment Weekly reports that the series began shooting its sixth season just two weeks ago and a Netflix spokesperson confirmed to Gizmodo that this will be the last. While it currently appears that House of Cards will be allowed to finish out its run, a statement from Netflix and producer Media Rights Capital supplied to Gizmodo is a bit ambiguous. The wording of that statement indicates that there is some concern that the cast or crew will feel uncomfortable working with Spacey. That could make filming the rest of the season difficult.
