For the first time since the news broke yesterday, Zachary Levi is speaking out about playing Shazam in the upcoming DC Films movie. Levi took to instagram to express his excitement for the role and all of the work it will entail. ?Honored and greatly humbled to be a part of the #dcuniverse by bringing the original Captain Marvel to life,? Levi said. Captain marvel was the character?s original name before DC Comics changed it to Shazam to avoid confusion and legal battles.
