"Thank You For Your Service" director Jason Hall said he was impressed with the detail and craft that Miles Teller brought to his movie. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Hall said quote "I was so impressed with Miles. We asked him in a way to do stuff that he'd not done before. He gives a very subtle performance here, and he gives a really grown up performance, too." The biopic stars Teller as Adam Schumann, a returning war veteran who struggles to readjust to civilian life after the Iraq war. Teller himself admitted the role was difficult to play and that he did a lot of research prior to filming.
