Actor Andrew Garfield is opening up about his relationship with "Hacksaw Ridge" director Mel Gibson. The 34-year-old actor starred as United States Army corporal Desmond T. Doss, a pacifist who refused to engage in combat during World War Two. Garfield's initial hesitation at joining the cast reportedly stems from Gibson's past controversial behavior, included his infamous anti-Semitic rant in July 2006.
