David Letterman holds the record for the most years worked as a US late-night television host. This Sunday, October 22nd, he received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, in honor of his achievement. In a speech Jimmy Kimmel joked that Letterman retiring is the reason for the US?s current political climate. Kimmel stated, ?When Dave left 17 long months ago, we had no idea how much trouble we were in. I look at what?s going on now and I think this is [Letterman?s] fault. All of it.?
