Scarlett Johansson and her fellow Marvel superheroes are taking action to help victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico with a special benefit. "It is a great privilege to be able to participate in whatever way I can, to provide some relief to those that are struggling to access even the most basic of human needs in the aftermath of this disastrous event." The hurricane devastated the island, which a month later is still largely without power or access to clean water, medical supplies, and food. The official number of people killed since the hurricane has been stated as anywhere from 50 to 450. According to Deadline, Johansson and fellow Avengers stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, and Mark Ruffalo are putting on a performance of the play Our Town written by Thornton Wilder.
