VIDEO : Lindsay Lohan Defends Herself After Supporting Weinstein

Lindsay Lohan has defended herself against those who criticized her comments about Harvey Weinstein following the Hollywood mogul's sexual harassment and abuse scandal. On Wednesday, the 31-year-old actress posted a photo of a scene from "The Parent Trap," writing that she believes in the strength of women. The caption read, "Whatever anyone says, I am FOR #womenempowerment." In her original caption, which she edited, she claimed that people didn't care about her ex-fiancé allegedly abusing her. She wrote, "If most women in America cared how I was abused by my exfiancé...when not one person stood up for me while he was abusing me..." Lohan was engaged to Russian mogul Egor Tarabasov in 2016. After the news broke about Weinstein, Lohan said in a now-deleted Instagram video: "He's never wronged me or done anything to me and we've done several movies together. I think everyone needs to stop. It's wrong, so stand up."
