VIDEO : Mychael Knight, ''Project Runway' Fan Favorite, Dies at 39

Fashion designer and "Project Runway" competitor Mychael Knight has died at the age of 39-years-old. According to TMZ, Knight had checked into a hospital for treatment of intestinal issues. He had previously revealed in July that he suffered from irritable bowel syndrome and it had taken a toll on his health. Knight placed fourth in season three of "Project Runway" but won the fan favorite award. He returned to the show to compete in a 2009 special "All-Star Challenge" and was a contestant on the third season of "Project Runway All Stars." His family released a statement to Obvious Magazine saying in part "Mychael meant everything to us and we loved him dearly. He was generous and so full of life."
