VIDEO : Ferrera Reveals Childhood Sexual Assault

The numerous allegations of sexual assault against Harvey Weinstein made by Rose McGowan and many other accusers have prompted the hashtag #MeToo campaign. In the campaign, women share their stories of sexual abuse and sexual harassment. America Ferrera has now come forward and said that she as sexually assaulted as a nine-year-old child. On Instagram she wrote: ?First time I can remember being sexually assaulted I was 9-years-old. I told no one and lived with the shame and guilt thinking all along that I, a 9-year-old child, was somehow responsible for the actions of a grown man."
