VIDEO : NBC Looking to Redevelop 'Nancy Drew' Show

A year after CBS passed on a TV reboot of the mystery book series 'Nancy Drew' starring actress Sarah Shahi, NBC is getting its own shot at developing the show. CBS' version with Shahi, which went to pilot, was described as a contemporary take on the character from the book series. However, CBS passed on the show in May 2016 after sources said it did not come in as strong as the network would have hoped. Should Nancy Drew move forward at NBC, it would feature a completely different cast.
