VIDEO : Date Set for Wonder Woman 2 Filming to Begin

"Wonder Woman" fans, brace yourselves! Filming is set to begin on the sequel during the summer of 2018. Warner Bros will reportedly begin production in June of 2018. Director Patty Jenkins is back to help the second film, starring Gal Gadot in the title role. The original film was a massive box office success for DC Extended Universe, and brought in over $821 million at the worldwide box office. It was not only one of the highest-grossing solo superhero movies ever released but also the highest-grossing origin story. As of now, "Wonder Woman 2" is set for a December 2019 release.
