Greta Gerwig's solo directorial debut, "Lady Bird", played this week at the New York Film Festival. The film is what Gerwig calls her hate/love letter to her hometown of Sacramento and it's been described as "delightful." Saoirse Ronan stars in the lead role as Christine McPherson, who attends Catholic high school and dreams of attending college as far away from Sacramento as possible. Lady Bird hits theaters on November 3.
