Meryl Streep responded for the first time Monday to the allegations of sexual harassment against film mogul Harvey Weinstein. Streep has frequently worked in movies produced and distributed by the Weinstein Co. In a statement Monday to the Huffington Post, Streep said "The behaviour is inexcusable but the abuse of power familiar." She praised "the intrepid women who raised their voices." Weinstein produced numerous films starring Streep.
