Fans of the show "Rick and Morty" were less then impressed when supplies of the limited release Szechuan sauce ran out of stock on Saturday. The chain brought back the plum dipping sauce, which was used to promote the 1998 Disney film Mulan, for only one day after the animated show mentioned and made a plea to bring it back. The sauce was available at select locations, but that didn't stop die hards from making the treck to get there hands on that "Sweet Sweet Szechuan Sauce". After many customers were turned away due to McDonalds not anticipating the huge turnout, the fast food giant released a statement announcing that they would bring back the sauce for a limited run during the winter months. "Instead of being one-day-only and limited to select restaurants, we're bringing more ? a lot more ? so that any fan who's willing to do whatever it takes for Szechuan Sauce will only have to ask for it at a nearby McDonald's"
