Angelina Jolie reportedly offered herself as bait to catch Joseph Kony, one of the world's most notorious warlords. In an email from before 2012, Luis Moreno Ocampo, the former Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, wrote, "Forget other celebrities, she is the one. ... She loves to arrest Kony. She is ready. Probably Brad [Pitt] will go also." The emails were leaked to Mediapart and reported by the Sunday Times. Moreno Ocampo and Jolie reportedly planned to travel to the Central African Republic with US special forces. Jolie replied to the email, "Brad is being supportive. Let?s discuss logistics. Much love Xxx."
