VIDEO : Pence exits NFL game after players kneel during anthem

Vice President Mike Pence attended the Colts vs. 49ers game on October 8th, but he didn't stay very long. During the national anthem, many players and coaches knelt, linked arms, and even wore black t-shirts that said ?We Will? on the front and ?Stand for equality, justice, unity, respect, dialogue, opportunity? on the back. Pence then left the game because of the protest. He released a statement issued by the protest that is quoted saying, ?I left today?s Colts game because President Trump and I will not dignify any event that disrespects our soldiers, our Flag, or our National Anthem,?
