on the show Rick and Morty, one of the shows Main characters Rick, has an obsession with McDonalds Szechuan Sauce. The sauce was a limited edition item in 1998 for the release of mulan. McDonald?s brought back the sauce for one day only, and it sold out within hours. People waited online for hours, and left empty handed. Fans were upset, so mcdonalds took to social media to issue an apology bout being unable to get their Szechuan sauce during the one-day-only revival of the long-discontinued item.
