While at New York Comic-Con 2017 this week, star and creator of the FOX sci-fi comedy show 'The Orville', Seth MacFarlane, said he is ?confident there will be a second season." Based of ratings so far, a renewal is definitely possible as the show's recent fifth episode, which aired on October 5, attracted more than 3.4 million live viewers. 'The Orville' focuses around a crew of aliens, robots, and miscreants traveling around space aboard a Star Trek-like spaceship 400 years in the future. It airs on FOX Thursday nights at 9 PM.
