The marketing plan for Marvel?s The Punisher on Netflix was centered around a major reveal at New York Comic Con but due to the tragic mass shooting in Las Vegas, Marvel and Netflix agreed it would be inappropriate to present the hyper violent series at the event so soon. The panel, interviews, and other press opportunities for The Punisher were all canceled as a result, leaving a major gap in NYCC?s Saturday prime time schedule, and an open slot in the Madison Square Gardens theater.
